We've been busy working with the Gold Coast SUNS on a range of social and digital applications over the last few weeks. Developed to sit within their website and/or Facebook page the applications have been aimed at membership recruitment, database building and sponsorship activation. A rare look behind the scenes at Non-Format who have been working with Adobe on imagery for Adobe CS6 Design Standard Package. Recognised world wide for their art direction, image making and custom typography, this is a fascinating look into how technology is allowing the duo to live in seperate parts of the world which suit them personally, whilst allowing them to still collaborate professionally. By developing a different way of working they seem to have achieved a great balance between lifestyle and business.
The Trashcam Project is an image based city documentary, started by some clever garbo's in Hamburg. The group of garbo's got together and approached a local creative agency for some professional pointers on how to put their left of centre idea into practice. So what's the big idea?... 1,100 dumpsters have been turned into giant pinhole cameras.
'On a sunny day the exposure time for a photo can take as little as five minutes, but on cloudy ones, the workers may have to wait 90 minutes, giving them plenty of time to speculate on how the image will turn out. The photos are then developed in a special lab...' (Good.is)
